1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?
“This is more general rather than a specific achievement, it has been coming back from every setback / disappointment / failure that I have had. And there have been a few. The greatest gift here has been the grit and resilience that this has built in me and for that I am so grateful. If I had to think of a single achievement, it would have been receiving the ZAA SA Female Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2016. For so long I was lost without a ‘title’ and when I received this award, 12 years into my career, I felt as though I belonged to a tribe of people that I really loved.”
2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?
“I think that I will run out of time. Time to do all of the things that I want to, to have all of the conversations that I would like to, to experience all of the things that I aspire to, time to spend with my little human. So then I overcommit which can lead to burnout which impacts on output. And the cycle repeats. They say that awareness is half the feat though so we’re onto something here. We are all WIP, ‘works in progress.’ “
3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?
“Energy and effort. I live by the motto “Always be humble, hungry and the hardest worker in the room” and that “there are no problems, only solutions.“
Thank you for being you!
