Paige Mac

Paige Mbanjwa is a South African singer-song-writer. From the time that she could speak her parents found her humming along to music and at the age of 9 started playing guitar and putting pen to paper.

Since finishing school and moving to the Mother City of Cape Town, she has pursued a career in music. Playing shows amongst some South African greats including Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Hugh Masekela, Lira, Civil Twilight and many more.

In 2012, under the project Paige Mac, she signed to Universal Music Sub-Saharan Africa where she was a promising artist, being accredited for an ‘’Adele-esque sound’’ according to Studio 7 and referred to as a phenomenon just waiting to happen by the celebrity hit TV show ‘Top Billing’. Since then Paige Mac has played most of SA’s biggest festivals across the country to a multitude of crowds. Always moving hearts.

After the devastation of having lost both her parents at a young age, Paige also dedicated her time to teaching the music to the youth from all walks of life. Paige shows passion in only in performance but also in mentoring and inspiring them to their utmost potential.

Wherever she goes, she moves the souls of the people who hear her songs and shares that the hard times she experienced- in her opinion- are what prepare the ordinary for extraordinary destinies.

Universal Music is thrilled to have signed Paige Mac, she is unquestionably a world class artist whose voice and songs have global appeal” – Benjy Mudie
