1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?
“I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2013, underwent a couple of surgeries and procedures and six months of chemo. I could say that not giving up and surviving a time of complete uncertainty is my biggest achievement. An achievement it absolutely is, but since then, life has taught me that it’s all about the small wins – and to celebrate each and every single one of them. I never thought my body would be able to handle anything strenuous after my diagnosis but here I am having completed two of the most beautiful multi-day hikes in South Africa – The Otter Trail as well as The Whale Trail – without Plan B which was to take an escape route and book myself into a spa on day two, haha.”
2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?
“Something that holds me back is without a doubt, doubt! Should I or shouldn’t I remains the question.”
3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?
“You will never regret being kind. ‘ If you have the chance to make people happy, do it. Sometimes people are struggling silently. Maybe, your act of kindness can make their day.’ Unknown“
