ILIFF is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. With an acoustic guitar in hand, she started crafting songs and an early age.  At the onset of the pandemic in 2020, ILIFF began writing and recording new music from the breakfast nook in her kitchen, enlisting the help of her friends
who contributed their instrumentation from their own bedrooms and garages.  ILIFF is now working on her second EP and just released her first single of the year called ‘Gardens’.

Q&A

1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?

“It takes a good measure of courage to be honest with yourself and respond with grace.  What I’m most proud of in my recent years, are my efforts to forgive myself, for my consistent work to find healing, for pressing in to hard conversations, for choosing a integral life, where all versions of myself converge.”

2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?

“I would have to confess that my biggest fear is to look back on my life and feel like I didn’t spend my love, my time, and my energy on the right things. As an artist I think the biggest challenge I face is managing the constant critique. That critique can be fuel or it can be fatal. My hope is that I grow and learn from the critique and use it as fuel to run towards my goals with endurance.”

3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?

“Realizing that time is sacred because it is fleeting is the catalyst that propels us into spending our love, energy, and time, regardless of the risk. Don’t wait, time cannot be resurrected. Create, love, forgive, be present, and go all in on every day.”

4. Fun Facts:

“In kindergarten I chose to dress up as Michael Jackson for Halloween :). My mom sewed me custom jacket and I wore a sequin glove.  Michael Jackson was my first artist obsession, and built the foundation for my love of pop music.”
