1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?
“For more than 10 years I wanted to make a family-friendly TV show – something that inspires people to have big conversations. I had a decade of “NOs” and several renowned TV professionals tell me no one would watch.
In January 2021 my first TV show CRASH TEST WORLD debuted on Discovery Channel. It’s a smart, solution-driven series and I believe will be the first of many programs that change the face of family TV.“
2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?
“I have no formal training in TV/film production. When I’m working I feel like “I’m finally here!” but have this fear that the minute I open my mouth the production team and on-camera talent will immediately know I really don’t belong here.”
3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?
“For 18 years I have created video content to helps children learn about the world beyond their borders.
Millions of children around the world have used these videos. Some have started recycling programs in their schools aber watching one of my videos.
Others had led fundraising campaigns for children in refugee camps.
I consider this work and this “knowledge to action” approach to learning my life’s work.”
“Lives in Brooklyn New York and Amsterdam, Netherlands; Traveled to 77 countries; loves vintage photobooths; favorite movie “All the President’s Men”; consider myself an ice-cream making genius; Secretly wish I could be Cyndi Lauper in another life (or at least have her style)”
