Q&A

1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?
My career highlight was being chosen by Dr Edith Eger to interview her about her life during a high profile virtual event during Covid.  Edith is an Auschwitz survivor and renowned author of worldwide best sellers The Choice and The Gift. This year my personal highlight was having my young son as my plus one (in his cute black suit) when I won Woman of Stature’s 2023 CEO of the Year. He is certainly my biggest motivator and the reason why I do what I do. He also looked super stylish and is the best plus one his mom could ask for.”

2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?
“I have a strict perfectionist wing in my enneagram and whilst its useful at times, other times it drives me crazy. Sometimes I will put off doing something if I don’t feel it’s perfect and I am trying to change that mindset to be more curious about the experience and evolution of something rather than it having to be perfect enough to launch. The result is I can be a master procrastinator and the nickname “last minute dot com” is certainly there for a reason!”

3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?
“I am a staunch advocate for mental health, even sharing my personal journey with bipolar disorder with the world. I am writing a book about it (and yes of course I am procrastinating on that too.) I am completely anti fake and show people that there is a way to shine from a place of authentic confidence and that the old adage “Fake it till you make it” is no longer relevant. I delivered a Tedx talk called ‘Make it without Faking it’ and received a great response because people are genuinely tired of the façade and what comes with it. Authenticity is really what feeds us as humans.

4. Fun Facts:
“I have a love affair with sloths, enjoy making fun of myself and also get all my sayings wrong like “cross your thumbs” kinda stuff.”

Thank you for being you!
