Q&A

Q.  What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?

A. “This is hard because I am proud of myself for SO much but if I had to choose, I would say I am most proud of my Paralympic wins. My win was for more than myself, it was a win for my daughter, my family, and for working mothers everywhere. I wanted to see more professional athlete mothers dominating their life with their children and I was able to be that representation.

Q.  What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?

A. I have had a fear of success in my career and business, and it has been a battle to overcome, but I have used that fear as fuel. I have turned the narrative around to what if I don’t use my voice to help people. And that is a bigger fear to me, dying with the knowledge, experience, and tools that could make someone’s life that much better if only I were brave enough to share.

Q.  What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?

A. “We are put on this planet for a purpose beyond ourselves and we are born to share our gifts with the world. As life goes on pain and painful experiences inevitably follow causing us to quiet our purpose or give up on our dreams. If I could share one piece of advice with everyone I come in contact with it would be, why wait for the pain to show you how to live a life worth fighting for when you can start now; on your own terms in your own purpose.
