By creating simple, locally made pulse-based food products, through regenerative farming methods, using only whole-food ingredients and by utilizing zero additives and zero-waste packaging.
“To me, the nervous system plays an essential part in practical application and integration of these modalities. So the lens I most often use to view the world through is the beloved Vagus Nerve.
Having trained with Dr. David Frawley in Ayurveda, and further studies in Poly Vagal Theory, my Ayurvedic journey began in 2012 and has only expanded in an ever renewed love of herbs and food as medicine. Nature gives us everything we need to heal and be well.
I work with the 5 Koshas, or “Sheaths” on the journey to integrative well-being. Incorporating daily lifestyle practices, yoga, meditation, mantra and pranayama.
Ultimately, it is the individual who heals themselves. Ayurveda simply provides a path of ancient wisdom that clearly maps out how we can all live a vibrant, connected life.”
Q&A
1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?
“I’ve birthed two babies (yet), one the company that I started, “Happy Earth People”, and the second my beautiful daughter Ray. Both of those experiences were filled with challenges and moments that completely fill me with bliss, of course my daughter Ray, more so. But, the one thing that birthing anything has at its core is – it does not belong to us. And so something that has made me incredibly proud, is to give all of my creativity, love and energy into raising my babies, but to know that I have brought into the world something (or someone) that I truly believe in and that I am so incredibly proud of.”
2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?
“Probably time. I’m a dreamer, there are a lot of things I would like to do in my life. The other half of that answer is someone “owning” my time. To me, it’s the most precious gift on this earth and I want to spend as much of it as I possibly can breathing deeply into daily joy, and living with total va-va-voom.”
3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?
“I am in the process of doing an entire career change. I am also a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, and this year I am very much looking forward to fully embodying that Dharma (or Truth). Throughout my life people have gravitated to me for guidance, and I share it joyously. I feel like my biggest contribution would be sharing as much of this a possible with the world.”
4. Fun Facts:
“I DJ, and I love it! I love to dance, sing and play music. We have music in our house all the time, and my daughter loves it too. I really enjoy her improv songs and we often have a random jam, when the inspiration hits us. She’s 2, so you can imagine the silliness.”
Thank you for being you!
