Q&A

1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?

“To date, I would say I am most proud of writing, recording and now in the process of releasing, my debut album ‘The Phoenix’.  I had sort of shelved my dream of becoming a professional artist…and after enduring a devastating circumstance in early 2022, I woke up out of my complacency and pushed myself forward.   Mustering up the courage and strength to get this body of work written, written honestly and from the heart, recorded and now sharing it with the world is an endeavor I will be forever proud of.”

2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?

For me, my life’s work is to peel back the layers of myself.  That is work that never really ends.  You try to shed ego, and you try to just get out of your own way so that you can be a clear vessel, so that you can hear what God has to tell you, and so that you can get beyond your own fear-based self-talk.  So the thing that historically has gotten in my way is me…and now, I’m always working on my relationship with myself, to love myself, be my own best friend, and be as clear as I can.  That’s when the music and the ideas come in for me.

3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?

I have had a spiritual counselor who has helped me through my darkest times.  She taught me a concept that is now a cornerstone of my life and that is…”honor yourself”.  I’ve traced back all of my wrong turns in life to dishonoring my truth.  So that is a concept that I now preach and is a main theme in all of my music.  Honor yourself.

4. Fun Facts:

“I love nature!  I love hiking, cycling, skiing, swimming, mountains, the beach…anything thats outside…I’m there.”
