SHAMAN | ANIMAL COMMUNICATOR | TAX LAWYER

“Liesl embodies a layered deep spirit of connection, coupled with the diverse feminine in modern day as we know it.”

Liesl Kruger has studied the teachings of North, Central and South American shamanism, and that of the Red Path and Sacred Fire. She is a leader of shamanic journeys and sweat lodges, Pipe Carrier, Vision Quester, Sacred Dancer and a Counsellor and Medicine Woman of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan.

Liesl offers personal healing sessions with personalised counselling and guidance that facilitate an integrative healing process and help you go to the heart of the situation you would life to shift, no matter if it is of a physical, mental, emotional and/ or spiritual nature. You will receive insight, clarity and the release of blockages and old trauma.

A consultation with Liesl is an opportunity for direct telepathic communication with your animal companion. In this way, you will be able to understand your animal companion on a deeper level, address any behavioural issues, gain insight into physical concerns, explain upcoming changes or events and find out what your animal companion would like to share with you.

Liesl is also able to communicate with deceased animal companions and can help you reconnect with your friend’s spirit.

A “Four Tobacco’s” ceremony is held when the time comes to climb the mountain, with the purpose of the ceremony being to set the intention of the Vision Quest. Seekers participate in this ceremony, together with friends and family. After the ceremony, seekers will take a last shower, have a meal and enter the sweat lodge for purification, prayers and songs. The sweat lodge is where the focus becomes internal and the vow of silence begins.

Q&A

1. What’s your biggest achievement / Something you’re proud of yourself for?

” Although I had a very successful and lucrative corporate career as a tax lawyer, a big achievement for me was to give it all up in order to pursue a better balance in my life. Shortly after giving up the job, we also relocated to a farm an hour from Cape Town and making these decisions to step out of the rat race benefitted me in many ways. Life is more simple and meaningful and I am able to spend more time in nature and with husband and my animals.

2. What’s your biggest fear / something that holds you back?

” A constant challenge for me is to be more in the flow of life and to surrender to what is. I think all humans (myself included) have a need to somehow control the aspects of our lives, whether it involves work projects, relationships or appointments. There is a fine balance between planning things as best we can, but then to also be flexible and accept how things turn out, especially if it is not how we expected!

3. What’s your biggest contribution / Something you like to share?

” I lead shamanic retreats as well as the Vision Quest that we host each year – I feel that I am making a big contribution by doing this work. This is evident in the positive transformation I see in people after passing through my retreat centre. Even though it is intensive work, I am honoured and grateful to be able to offer this to people.

4.  Fun Fact:

“I like to build jigsaw puzzles in my spare time – but I must be careful as it can become a sort of addiction!”

Thank you for being you Liesl!
